Whoever,
abandoning sensual passions here, would go forth from home-- his sensual
passions, becomings, totally gone: he's what I call a brahmin. Whoever,
abandoning craving here, would go forth from home-- his cravings, becomings,
totally gone: he's what I call a brahmin.

Dhammapada, 26, translated by Thanissaro Bhikkhu.
